Giselle Vale — Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 11 September 2026

1. About us

This website is operated by Midorika LTD under the trading name Giselle Vale (“Giselle Vale”, “we”, “us” or “our”). Midorika LTD is registered in England and Wales under company number 16512808. Our registered office is at 85 Great Portland Street, London W1W 7LT, United Kingdom.

These Terms and Conditions apply to purchases made through our website. Please read them before placing an order. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights.

2. Online orders

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the products in your basket. After receiving your order, we will send you an order acknowledgement. This does not mean that your order has been accepted.

Your order is accepted, and a contract is formed between you and us, when we send you a dispatch confirmation email. We may decline or cancel an order before dispatch, for example if an item is unavailable, there is an obvious pricing or product-description error, payment has not been authorised, or we reasonably suspect fraud or misuse.

If we cancel an order after taking payment, we will refund the amount paid using the original payment method as soon as reasonably possible.

Payment in full is required before dispatch. Products remain our property until we have received payment in full.

3. Prices and payment

Prices are displayed in the currency selected on the website and include UK VAT where applicable. Delivery charges, duties, taxes and other import charges, where applicable, will be shown or explained during checkout or in our Delivery Policy.

Prices may change at any time, but a change will not affect an order we have already accepted. If a price is clearly incorrect and could reasonably have been recognised as an error, we may cancel the order and refund any payment made.

Payments are processed securely by the payment providers offered at checkout. We do not control and are not responsible for interruptions to third-party payment services, although this does not affect our obligations to you in relation to your order.

4. Products and natural materials

We take reasonable care to describe and photograph our products accurately. Screen settings and photography may affect how colours and scale appear.

Our jewellery is handcrafted and may include natural gemstones, pearls and other natural materials. Variations in colour, pattern, shape, inclusions and dimensions are part of their individual character and are not normally considered faults. Product measurements are approximate unless stated otherwise.

5. Delivery

Available delivery methods, estimated delivery times and charges are shown at checkout or in our Delivery Policy. Delivery dates are estimates unless we expressly agree otherwise.

We are responsible for the products until they are delivered to you or to a person you have identified to receive them. If you nominate a carrier or other delivery arrangement that we did not offer, responsibility may pass to you when the products are handed to that carrier.

Please contact us promptly if your order is delayed, missing, damaged or incomplete so that we can investigate and put matters right. Your statutory rights are not affected by any delay in contacting us.

For international orders, you are responsible for complying with applicable import laws and for paying any duties, taxes or charges that we have clearly stated are not included in the purchase price. We are not responsible for delays caused by customs procedures outside our reasonable control.

6. Cancelling an order before dispatch

If you wish to cancel an order before receiving a dispatch confirmation, please contact us as soon as possible at sales@gisellevale.com and quote your order number. We will try to stop the order, but we cannot guarantee cancellation once it is being prepared or has been dispatched.

If the order has already been dispatched, you may use the cancellation and returns rights described below.

7. Returns and your right to cancel

In addition to your statutory rights, we offer a 30-day returns period for unwanted items purchased directly from our website.

Please notify us at sales@gisellevale.com and return the item within 30 days of delivery. Items should be unworn, unused and returned with their original packaging and proof of purchase. You may handle an item only as you reasonably would in a shop. We may reduce a refund to reflect any loss in value caused by handling beyond what is reasonably necessary to establish the item’s nature, characteristics and function.

Under UK distance-selling law, you also have the right to cancel most online purchases by telling us within 14 days after the day you receive the goods. You then have a further 14 days to return them. You do not need to give a reason.

The right to cancel does not apply to products made to your specification or clearly personalised. For hygiene reasons, pierced earrings supplied in sealed hygiene packaging cannot be returned after the seal has been broken, unless they are faulty. These exclusions do not affect your rights where an item is faulty, damaged or not as described.

Returns of items purchased from another retailer or marketplace must normally be arranged with that seller under its returns policy.

8. How to return an item

Please contact sales@gisellevale.com before returning an item so that we can identify and process your return.

Send returns securely packaged to:

Giselle Vale (Midorika LTD)
Returns Department
23 Glynde House
Palmeira Avenue
Hove BN3 3GG
United Kingdom

You are responsible for the direct cost of returning an unwanted item unless we agree otherwise. We recommend using a tracked service and keeping proof of postage, as you are responsible for the return until it reaches us.

For returns from outside the UK, mark the customs documentation clearly as “RETURNED GOODS — NO COMMERCIAL VALUE” and include the original order details where required. Please do not use a service that charges duties or fees to us without contacting us first. We may deduct from your refund any avoidable customs or handling charges caused by incorrectly completed return documentation, where permitted by law.

If an item is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described, contact us before returning it. We will provide appropriate return instructions and reimburse reasonable standard return postage where required by law.

9. Refunds

We will issue an approved refund to the original payment method within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or, if earlier, receiving satisfactory evidence that you sent them back.

For a valid statutory cancellation, we will refund the product price and the cost of our least expensive standard delivery option. We do not have to refund the additional cost of an upgraded or express delivery service. The cost of returning an unwanted item is not refunded unless required by law or agreed by us.

Bank and payment-provider processing times may affect when the refund appears in your account.

10. Faulty, damaged or incorrect goods

We are under a legal duty to supply goods that are as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality.

If an item arrives damaged, faulty or incorrect, please contact sales@gisellevale.com with your order number and, where helpful, photographs of the issue. Reporting a problem promptly helps us resolve it quickly, but does not reduce your statutory rights.

Depending on the circumstances and your legal rights, we may offer a refund, repair or replacement. Normal wear and tear, accidental damage, improper storage, misuse, or damage caused by an unauthorised repair is not a manufacturing fault.

We may also be able to repair jewellery damaged through wear and tear for a charge. We will explain and agree any charge with you before carrying out the repair. Any paid repair service is separate from your statutory rights concerning faulty goods.

11. Exchanges

Where stock is available, we may offer an exchange for another style, colour or size. Please contact us before returning the item. Unless the product is faulty or we made an error, you are responsible for the return postage. We will send the first replacement within the UK without an additional standard delivery charge. International delivery charges may apply and will be confirmed before the exchange is processed.

12. Gift vouchers

Giselle Vale gift vouchers may be redeemed only through our website using the unique voucher code and cannot be used through third-party retailers or marketplaces.

Unless a longer period is stated when purchased, vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. A voucher may be used as part-payment for an order of a higher value. Gift vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash, and unused balances cannot be paid out in cash. This does not affect any legal right to a refund, including where the voucher itself is faulty or was purchased online and a statutory cancellation right applies.

13. Website content

We take reasonable care to keep our website accurate and available, but we do not guarantee that it will always be uninterrupted or free from errors. We may update, suspend or withdraw website content where reasonably necessary.

Nothing in this section limits our responsibility for orders already accepted or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

14. Intellectual property

All intellectual-property rights in the Giselle Vale name, branding, jewellery designs, text, illustrations, photographs, graphics, logos, packaging and other website content belong to Midorika LTD, its licensors or the relevant rights holders.

You may view, download or print website content for your personal, non-commercial use. You must not reproduce, modify, distribute, publish or use our content for business or commercial purposes without prior written permission, except where permitted by law.

15. Privacy

We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. By placing an order, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorised to use the chosen payment method.

16. Our liability

We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or breach of your statutory rights.

If we fail to comply with these Terms, we are responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of our breach or our failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable.

We supply products for private and domestic use. If you use them for commercial, business or resale purposes, we are not responsible for business losses such as loss of profit, revenue, business or opportunity, except where such liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

17. Events outside our reasonable control

We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by an event outside our reasonable control. If this materially affects your order, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible and take reasonable steps to minimise the effect. If there is a substantial delay, you may contact us to cancel the affected order and receive a refund for products you have paid for but not received.

18. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The Terms that apply to your order are those available when you place the order. Changes will not affect a contract already formed unless the change is required by law or you agree to it.

19. Severability

If any part of these Terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.

20. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by English law. If you live in another part of the United Kingdom, you may also rely on any mandatory protections available to you under the law of that part of the United Kingdom.

You may bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland, Northern Ireland or another country, you may also be entitled to bring proceedings in your local courts under applicable consumer law.

21. Contact and complaints

For questions, returns or complaints, contact us at sales@gisellevale.com. We aim to acknowledge complaints promptly and to provide a substantive response within 14 working days where possible.
